Lib Dem district councillor Ann Blacklock (Kenilworth Abbey) is encouraging residents of Warwick District to take part in a
'Slim Your Bin' challenge. The challenge will run throughout June 2009 to highlight the amount of 'rubbish' created and to encourage people to think more about what they throw away.
The District Council is looking for a variety of households to take part in the challenge and would like to hear from anyone living in Warwick district interested in finding out how to reduce their waste.
Up to 5 households will be selected to take part in the challenge - so whether residents live alone, are single parents, a couple with or without children, retired, have more than one generation living together etc. the council would really like to hear from them.
