Stunning Set of Results in Stratford District

Something to celebrate!
Liberal Democrats across the two parliamentary constituencies of Kenilworth & Southam and Stratford are celebrating their stunning set of results in the Stratford District Council elections this week.
We gained five seats from the Conservatives and held the two seats we were defending, giving us nineteen seats in total on the Council. It was a clean sweep for the Lib Dems in Stratford Town, taking all four seats (three gains and one hold). We also gained Shipston and Harbury, with a very close miss in Wellesbourne.
The five seats we took included the Deputy Leader of the Conservatives (Shipston) and two more Conservative Portfolio Holders (Stratford Alveston and Straford Avenue and New Town).
