Angie and Nigel - smooth operators!

Well, it was his saxophone actually, rather than a trumpet, but Liberal Democrat prospective parliamentary candidate Nigel Rock showed off his musical talents at a dinner of local party members and supporters last night. Nigel accompanied local singer Angie Adkins through a repertoire of jazz numbers old and new.

Lib Dem dinner 15.02.08The evening was a great success, enjoyed by all present, who came from all corners of the new constituency. Social events like this are an important way of bringing members together in a relaxed environment - the hard work of campaigning can wait for another day!
