The Warwickshire Firefighters Tragedy

Warwickshire Fire Service badgeNigel Rock, Prospective Parliamentary Candidate for Kenilworth & Southam and Stratford District Councillor, has made the following statement:

"The loss of so many fire-fighters in the tragedy within Stratford District will be difficult for many during the forthcoming holiday period. I hope friends, families and colleagues will draw some comfort from the huge number of well wishers that have signed condolence books both on line and in person. I was in Hereford few days ago and saw the Herefordshire Fire Service collecting for our Warwickshire lads. A sad reminder to us all about those that work for the community and country, by putting their own safety at risk. "
