Members of the Kenilworth & Southam Liberal Democrats were in Rugby yesterday to meet the two contenders for the party leadership - Nick Clegg and Chris Huhne, and to hear them set out their reasons for wanting to become leader.

Both gave excellent speeches followed by responses to many questions from the floor, the first of which came from county councillor John Whitehouse (Kenilworth Abbey) who asked what would be their top three priorities in their first hundred days in office.

Afterwards, Kenilworth & Southam prospective parliamentary candidate Nigel Rock met both Nick Clegg and Chris Huhne, and wished both well in their campaigns.

Nigel said:
