New Street Traffic Measures - Funding Secured

The Warwick Area Committee of the County Council approved last night a £10,000 funding bid put forward by Councillor John Whitehouse (Liberal Democrat, Kenilworth Abbey) for traffic measures to tackle the problem of speeding vehicles in historic New Street in Kenilworth.

John said after the meeting:

"This is very good news, and again I would like to thank all those residents who contributed to the survey which helped to secure backing for this bid.

I shall now be working with county officers to agree how this money should be spent to best effect."
