Councillor Pat Ryan (Liberal Democrat, Kenilworth Abbey) was appointed Mayor Designate at the meeting of Kenilworth Town Council last Thursday evening, to serve for the year May 2007 to May 2008.

Pat said:

" This is a great honour to be selected to become Kenilworth mayor for a second time. My wife Joan and I are both looking forward immensely to our year in office."

In order to become mayor in May, of course, Pat needs to retain his town council seat in the forthcoming town council elections on the 3rd May! He will hoping for widespread support across Abbey ward to ensure that this happens.
