Tree Threat to Village Hall Lifted

Cllr. John Whitehouse (Liberal Democrat, Kenilworth Abbey) has brokered an agreement between the County Council and the Burton Green Village Hall committee, to remove a possible threat to the hall foundations from oak trees growing alongside the neighbouring Greenway. Three trees will be felled after leaf fall this autumn.

John said:

"It's always a shame to lose native trees like these, but I'm glad that the County Council has agreed to act as a 'good neighbour' on this occasion."
