Can You Spot The Difference?

April 28, 2005 2:14 PM

Speaking to Warwick University students on Tuesday night, Richard Allanach read out some extracts from some Conservative leaflets and some British National Party leaflets.

He asked the students if they could distinguish between the views of the "moderate" Tories and the "extremist" British National Party.

You can test yourself below - can you spot the difference?

1. Nobody knows if these people were criminals, carrying diseases, or even where they went

2. We say what you think

3. The Home Secretary Charles Clarke, officially declared "We want more migration"

4. What bit of "send them back" don't you understand Mr Blair

5. Now Labour say: No upper limit on UK immigration

6. Stop Asylum Abuse. Save Billions. Give it to pensioners. Its not rocket science

7. Like millions of other British pensioners, Margaret paid taxes all her working life. It's a pity for Margaret that she can't claim asylum

8. More immigration means longer hospital waiting lists, larger classes, more crime, higher taxes and fewer homes available for local people

Answers:

1 (Con), 2 (BNP), 3(BNP), 4(Con), 5(Con), 6 (Con), 7(BNP), 8 (BNP)
